I really wanted to do this wedding at Finca Son Verí Mallorca, one of the most beautiful of the island. It is located in Marratxí, 10 kms from Palma. Since I knew that Grupo De Castro has taken it I had no doubt that Finca Son Verí was going to be a very special place. This couple that I present to you today are called Jenny and Anton. They are from one of my favorite cities New York and they have moved to Los Angeles. They have been together all their lives since they met studying when they were still young.

I have to start by highlighting the decoration of Bombillas y Flores. When I arrived at the venue and saw the girls finishing decorating the ceremony area, I was speechless. Each flower was placed with exquisite taste, the combination of colors, absolutely everything was perfect to fulfill the dream of this couple.

They contacted me and I immediately wanted to have a video call to get to know them a little bit despite the distance. From the first moment we connected in everything, they are very sweet and you can tell how much they love each other. When they told me that they had decided to celebrate their wedding at Finca Son Verí Mallorca I was very happy. It was going to take place at the end of August, just at the beginning of September when the island is beautiful.

They had planned to come to Mallorca a few months before to see everything together with their parents. The wedding planner was going to be The label and co.and of course the caterer El Jardín de Macarena De Castro. We went to see them at Finca Son Verí to meet them in person and see all the spaces together. I always like to give this personalized treatment to my couples and get to know them as much as I can so when the big day arrives we are not strangers. It creates a very important trust that then gives peace of mind and that is reflected in the photos and everything.

When you enter the possesió Finca Son Verí through the path of trees you are already enveloped in its magic. Its large building is presented with all its majesty and elegance. Passing the main door the space of the “patio de los señores” with the fountain in the middle and the Mediterranean garden welcomes you like a breath of fresh air.

Then to the left is the entrance door to the main house with its checkerboard floors of black and white squares. The living room is divided by vaulted ceilings with elegant sofas and paintings that lead you to the central patio. This clastra called “Patio de los amos” is open and is an incredible large space.

Just Jenny and Anton were enjoying one of the best pleasures there can be when organizing a wedding. The menu tasting, when they taste the dishes from El Jardin Catering and decide which ones they choose for their wedding day. We gave each other a big hug happy to be able to see each other in person and they introduced us to their parents.

There was also their wedding planner The label and co. with whom I really wanted to do this wedding and we visited the different spaces. We coincided with the dj Luis Fergón one of the best on the island. No doubt there was going to be a great team of professionals at this wedding in Finca Son Verí Mallorca. We said goodbye to the couple looking forward to the day.

As time went on we were catching up on all the details of the wedding. I knew what the bride and groom’s dress was going to be like, their tastes, and what the decoration and lighting was going to be like. All this together with the unique setting that is Finca Son Verí inspired me for what their photos were going to be. For me every couple and every place is unique and I always plan everything with respect to this.

So the big day arrived and dawned with a wonderful sun that undoubtedly foreshadowed how beautiful this wedding at Finca Son Verí Mallorca was going to be.

When we arrived we greeted the person who is undoubtedly a very important part of making the finca and everything that happens in it work perfectly. Rosa Dios is Macarena De Castro’s right hand and one of the best professionals I have ever met. She manages Jardín Events. Besides, if you add to that her human side, always with a smile, it’s a pleasure to work like that and make everything happy.

The groom came with his family and finished getting ready in the main hall. He was very elegant in his black tuxedo that looked great on him. His brother and father were with him helping him, also very elegant. We greeted his mother who with a big smile we could see how much she was looking forward to everything that awaited them.

The couple wanted to have a first look so we organized it to be in El patio de los señores. No doubt in this Mediterranean garden with such beautiful plants there was the magic needed for such a special meeting. We had the groom wait with his back turned and Jenny approached him from behind. When they saw each other their eyes lit up. It’s always a beautiful moment.

He told her how beautiful and how well the dress looked on her, Jenny looked spectacular.

Then the families came and saw her too and we decided as we had time to do family and couple photos. I used the main room to take the specific photos I had planned for them. They were both in the mood and everything flowed and it was great. I had for them like the story of the Chinese movie In the mood for love. With the exact colors and light. This wedding at Finca Son Verí Mallorca was perfect to recreate one of my favorite movies and so it was.

It was time for the guests to come and after the welcome drink they went to take their seats at the ceremony site. Everything was beautifully decorated by Bombillas y Flores who as always had done a fantastic job. The two made their entrances and the ceremony was beautiful. They put on their rings, said their I do’s and left happily together.

We went to the cocktail party in the courtyard with the fountain where the caterer from El Jardin brought trays with appetizers. They had also prepared different stations with all kinds of food. A saxophonist provided the soundtrack to this moment. Undoubtedly the guests were really enjoying this beautiful day. The couple received congratulations and hugs from everyone happy.

Then we went to the so-called Patio de los Amos where a large long table was set up. There were candelabras hanging in different places above the table and everything was decorated with candles and flowers. It was beautiful, an MC who had been the celebrant of the wedding introduced and directed everything with his microphone.

The couple made their entrance dressed in traditional Chinese clothes with a red print. Anton even picked up Jenny and twirled her around excitedly. Already during the banquet there were several speeches from the family members thanking everyone and congratulating for the wedding. The whole dinner was perfect with sirloin Wellington to enjoy as the main course. The maitre Celia could not have everything more controlled with so much sympathy and professionalism, so nice.

We then went to the interior hall for the disco. Dj Luis Fergón was already set up with all the lights and his equipment. The bride and groom cut the cake and then gave it all on the dance floor with their guests. Without a doubt this wedding at Finca Son Verí Mallorca had been fantastic. I thanked the couple for their trust and wished them all the happiness in the world, I hope to see them again very soon.
